Dr. Bahri received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, where he graduated top of his class. He then went on to complete his graduate degree in medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in FT in Lauderdale, Florida; and orthopedic training at Largo Medical Center-NSU COM. He then continued his training under world renown sports medicine Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews at the Andrews Research and Education Foundation/Andrews Institute in Pensacola, Florida.

With Dr. Andrews, Dr. Bahri has provided medical care to many professional athletes. He served as team doctor for a number of athletic teams including the Choctawhatchee High School football team and University of West Florida football team. He has provided medical care for the Division II Women’s National Volleyball Championship and the Ultimate Fight League in Tampa, Florida, and conducted pre-season physicals for the Tampa Rays major league baseball team.

His specialties lie in sports medicine injuries of the knee and shoulder with a special interest in shoulder and knee arthroscopy (ACL, rotator cuff, labrum, meniscus), Tommy John procedures, total shoulder replacements, total knee replacements, and general orthopedic care.
